ANSEL ADAMS
Original Photographs
Only a finite number of Ansel Adams Originals exist in the world. Each masterpiece combines the patience the artist used to capture the perfect light and shadow, with the emotion he felt when confronted by the grandeur of the American landscape. Ansel’s rare ability to transform geographic reality into a transcendent emotional experience for the viewer established him as one of the foremost American photographers—and conservationists—of his time.
Of all the American landscapes that Ansel Adams immortalized through his images, Yosemite was the most deeply personal. In Yosemite he discovered his spiritual home and built his family. He first visited the park in 1916 and he returned every year thereafter, meeting his wife there and then raising his family within Yosemite’s splendor. Ansel hoped his images would inspire park visitors to become activists for Yosemite’s preservation, instilled with a deeper connection to the natural world and a desire to protect it.

JOHN SEXTON
Represented Artist
John Sexton is perhaps the most widely known contemporary black and white landscape photographer and educator. He was an assistant of Ansel Adams for many years, and his work, in high demand, demonstrates the technical and artistic expertise that one would expect from such an association. John’s work has a very distinctive feel and is immediately recognizable, for he has clearly stepped out of the shadow of his mentor and established a worldwide reputation.
JEFFREY CONLEY
Represented Artist
Jeffrey Conley is a fine art landscape photographer who specializes in creating traditional black and white prints. His meticulously crafted prints, made utilizing traditional darkroom processes, are made in small limited editions of 40 prints. (you mean 20?) Conley’s photographs strive for a balanced simplicity that evokes his sense of wonder and reverence for the natural world. Scale and palette vary, from intimate and subtle to grand and dramatic. In all he seeks to capture a meditative spirit that is unique in his approach to landscape photography.
